The company was located in Cincinnati, and many of their clocks and possibly this model were designed by William Hentschel, who is best known for his work with the Rookwood Pottery Company also of Cincinnati. The front of this is bright golden yellow mirrored glass with a jet black clock bezel face with the original large brass hands. Measures just under 7 1/2″ tall by just over 13″ across, by 4 deep weighing 3 lbs. 13 ounces & by all accounts just a fabulous art deco electric clock! 100% guaranteed vintage and original as always from Grapefruit Moon Gallery! Condition : Case is in very fine condition but this antique clock does not currently run. The movement is original – these clocks were housed with a Waltham Watch Co. Remarkable design as seen we are smitten There are no breaks or damage to glass and the silvering is original and very solid, with the original hands and silk wrap cloth cord with a new cord end.
