The impressed stamp on the back access door reads Lawson Time, Inc LOS ANGELES, CALIF. ” and the designation of “MODEL NO. According to images on the Decopix website Lawson Clocks Gallery page, the clock itself is actually a merger of the Model #67 Type A and Type B styles. The very same piece as this is shown on the same page designated as Model 812. Stands 12 7/8″ tall and measures 11 7/8″ across at the widest with a 4 1/2 deep base. In very good condition. Appears to be all original. Light overall wear commensurate with age, oxidation and spotting to metal, as shown. The light works well and turns on and off with ease, but the motor for the clock is missing; I didn’t check with a clock repairmen, but I assume that one could locate a replacement. Everything else, number drums, gears etc. Seems to be there – guess that the motor quit working and was removed at some point in it’s history. No damage, breaks or loss to body or trim, retains original intact glass, very solid overall. The lamp portion has been rewired with a new cloth cord. Please study the photos as they are a part of the description. Offered here fresh out of an estate for the first time at no reserve. We do not falsify claim forms.
