Superb Vintage German Brass & Enamel Art Deco Plato Flip Ticket Carriage Clock. This clock is a very unusual vintage art deco plato flip ticket clock german signed abessi with a 7 jewel platform movement 8 day duration The case has a fantastic art deco design with cream and black enamel and geometric designs typical of the art deco period which look beautiful on display and it dates to around 1930’s. The clock has a very unusual ticket double dial one row for the hours and one row for the minutes, and they flick over once every minue to read the correct time. It has an 8 day German 7 jewel movement in full working order with all original parts. The original escapement is excellent without any damage and the clock seems to work spot on and flicks the tickets over fine. The clock is signed underneath Albessi The case is in great condition for age with only minimal nicks to enamel but looks very good It comes with its fixed winding key to base. The clock has superb proportions measuring 5.25 inches high x 3.5 inches wide x 3.5 inches deep I cannot stress how unusual the clock is. This is definately one for the collection and a superb investment piece. You are more than welcome to personally collect any item free of charge. All my items will be packed professionally.
